Why See a Psychologist?
We all go through challenges in life that can at times exceed our capacity to cope. Psychologists are trained mental health professionals that help people improve their quality of life, their happiness and their sense of meaning and purpose.
Our psychologists assess, diagnose and treat a variety of conditions ranging from the mild to very severe and complex.

What To Expect
Seeing a psychologist for the first time can be a daunting experience. At Healing Hearts Psychology we try to make the beginning of your journey with us as stress-free as possible.
Whenever you see a Psychologist always keep in mind:
Just because you are asked a question does not mean you have to answer if you find it too difficult to share;
If you feel your Psychologist is not a good fit for you, you always have the right to find someone who is;
Remember, we want you to get the best help for you too!
In your first session, your Psychologist will ask you a variety of questions to understand what you have been experiencing recently as well as how this fits into the bigger picture of your life. Then in future sessions, your Psychologist will work out what strategies they can teach you to best help you overcome your challenges and enhance your life and happiness.
